DRAWSTRING CORD

Did you lose the drawstring cord from your sweats? Need something durable to close a bag you are making? This may be the stuff for you.
This drawstring cord is 100% cotton. It is about 1/8" in diameter although overtime it may grow a bit.
The drawsting cord is sold in increments of 3 yards. If you order 2 increments we will send you one continous piece that is 6 yards long.

Velvet Cord

This is actually called velvet tubing-- but it has a cotton cord in the center. In order to make this cord flexible, the fabric was cut on the bias which exposes the grain a bit. Like all velvets, this cord is steamable (do not put the iron directly on the cord)to revive the nap a bit.
This cord has lots of uses-- for a neclace, to tie back curtains, decorative tie for little bags and magic tricks
It is round, 3/8" in diameter. $3.75 per yard

Velveteen cord. This is quite similar to the velvet cord but a little different. It is a squeak thinner, and bit more matte. $3.39 per yard

WEBBING

This is similar to the stuff you find being used as backpack straps. Ours is a tad bit thicker though. Use it for straps of all kind-- on bags, as a leash, as the support for costume parts.... what ever you would like.
We carry webbing in synthetic or cotton. The synthetic is a bit more durable and stretches less. The downside, is that it can be a bit slippery. The cotton is nicer to hold (I prefer it on a totebag), but fades with exposure to the sun and washing quicker. If you are using it in an application where you will need to tie the webbing, the cotton is probably better for you.
